The following content level filters are available with NETGEAR Smart Parental Controls:
- Child: Content for children up to 12 years old. Allows kid-safe content. Filters explicit content and social media.
- Teen: Content for teens 13-17 years old. Allows general-use content. Filters explicit content and 18+ adult-oriented content. All apps allowed.
- Adult: Content for ages 18 years old and up. Allows nearly all content for ages 18+. Filters explicit content. All apps allowed.
- None (not recommended for your child): All content allowed. Recommended for profiles that don't need content filtered. You can still pause the Internet on devices that belong to a profile with this filter.

The following tables show the default content management settings for each filter. The apps, websites, and online categories that are allowed by default in the Child filter are automatically allowed in the Teen filter and so on, even though they might not all be listed as allowed in the Teen filter table.Table 1. *Privacy and Safety determine if Safe Search and YouTube Restricted Mode are active. When Safe Search is active, sexually explicit content is omitted from Google and Bing search results. Other search engines like Yahoo are not supported. When YouTube Restricted Mode is active, YouTube's automatic filter blocks certain videos based on title and language metadata or age restrictions.
