Setting a content level filter for your family member's Smart Parental Controls (SPC) profile ensures that your child only accesses age-appropriate content on their devices. Content level filters are only available with an SPC Premium subscription.
To set a content level filter for your family member's SPC profile:
- Launch the Orbi or Nighthawk app.
- Tap Parental Controls.
- Tap a profile.
The Settings tab displays. - Tap Content Level.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Child: Content for kid up to 12 years old. Allows kid-safe content. Filters explicit content and social media.
- Teen: Content for teens 13-17 years old. Allows general-use content. Filters explicit content and 18+ adult-oriented content.
- Adult: Content for ages 18 years old and up. Allows nearly all content for ages 18+. Filters explicit content.
- None (not recommended for your child): All content allowed. Recommended for profiles that don't need content filtered. You can still pause the Internet on devices that belong to a profile with this filter.
