How do I change the Internet of things (IoT) network name (SSID) and password on my Orbi WiFi 6E System?

The Internet of things (IoT) network name (SSID) is used to connect all of your smart devices like smart lights, smart plugs, and smart speakers. By default, this SSID is disabled. For more information, see How do I enable or disable the Internet of things (IoT) network on my Orbi WiFi 6E System?.

To change the IoT SSID and password on your Orbi WiFi 6E System:

Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your Orbi network.
Enter orbilogin.com.
A login window displays.
Enter the admin user name and password.
The BASIC Home page displays.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
Select Wireless.
The Wireless Setup page displays.
Enter a new network name in the IoT Name (SSID) field.
The name can be up to 32 characters long and it is case-sensitive. The default SSID is randomly generated and is on the router's label.
Enter a new password in the Password (Network Key) field.
Enter a text string from 8 to 63 characters.
Write down the new password and keep it in a secure place for future reference.
Click the Apply button.

Your settings are saved.
