How do I enable or disable the Internet of things (IoT) network on my Orbi WiFi 6E System?

The Internet of things (IoT) network name (SSID) is used to connect all of your smart devices like smart lights, smart plugs, and smart speakers. By default, this SSID is disabled.

To enable or disable the IoT network on your Orbi WiFi 6E System:

  1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your Orbi network.
  2. Enter orbilogin.com.
    A login window displays.
  3. Enter the admin user name and password.
    The BASIC Home page displays.
    The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
  4. Select Wireless.
    The Wireless Setup page displays.
  5. In the Wireless IoT Settings section, select or clear the Enable IoT Network check box.
    Selecting the check box enables the IoT network. Clearing this check box disables the IoT network.
  6. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
