Resetting your Orbi WiFi system to factory default settings erases personalized settings such as your network name (SSID) and password.
If you have an active NETGEAR Armor or NETGEAR Smart Parental Controls subscription associated with your Orbi
To reset your Orbi WiFi system to factory default settings:
- Make sure your Orbi device is powered on.
- Using a paper clip or similar object, press and hold the Reset button until the Power LED on your Orbi device blinks amber.
Note: If you are resetting a wall-plug satellite, the ring LED blinks amber.
Your Orbi device is reset.
After you reset your Orbi WiFi system, set it up again using the Orbi app or a web browser.
