How do I recover my Orbi WiFi System's admin password?
There are two separate ways to recover your Orbi WiFi System’s admin password depending on the age of your system or its firmware. If the first method does not work, try the second method.
- Launch a web browser on a computer or mobile device that is connected to your Orbi network and enter orbilogin.com.
The login popup displays. - Click or tap the Cancel button.
If password recovery is enabled, you are prompted to enter your Orbi router’s serial number.
The serial number is on the Orbi router product label. - Enter the router’s serial number and click or tap the CONTINUE button.
You are prompted to answer your security questions. The answers are case-sensitive. - Enter your security question answers and click the CONTINUE button.
You are prompted to set a new admin password and new security questions. - Enter a new admin password and new security questions, then click or tap the NEXT button.
The Router Password Reset page displays. - Click or tap the LOGIN AGAIN button.
The login popup displays. - Use your new password to log in to your Orbi router.
- Launch a web browser on a computer or mobile device that is connected to your Orbi network and enter orbilogin.com.
The login popup displays. - Enter an incorrect combination of logins and passwords 3 times in a row.
The Router Password Reset page displays. - Enter your router’s serial number and click or tap the CONTINUE button.
The serial number is on the Orbi router product label.
You are prompted to answer your security questions. The answers are case-sensitive. - Enter your security question answers and click the CONTINUE button.
You are prompted to set a new admin password and new security questions. - Enter a new admin password and new security questions, then click or tap the NEXT button.
- Click or tap the LOGIN button.
The login popup displays. - Use your new password to log in to your Orbi router.
