By default, your NETGEAR Smart Switch, Smart Cloud Switch (with Remote/Cloud Management), or Easy Smart Managed Switch attempts to get a dynamic IP address using DHCP.
If, after approximately one minute, the switch does not receive an IP address from the DHCP server (or does not find a DHCP server), the switch turns off DHCP and uses its default static IP address of 192.168.0.239.
If your switch is using a static IP address, you can access it by opening your web browser and typing 192.168.0.239 in the address bar. In this situation, make sure that the computer that you are using is connected to the switch with an Ethernet cable and has an IP address on the same network as the switch's IP address. For more information about setting your computer’s IP address, see How to set a static IP address in Windows.
If you are encountering an error such as Page cannot be displayed or This webpage is not available, your switch's IP address might have changed. You can reset the IP address of the switch either by pressing and holding the Factory Default button for several seconds (which resets all settings on the switch to factory defaults).
If your switch did get an IP address from a DHCP server but you do not know the IP address, you can use the NETGEAR Discovery Tool to find the IP address.
