Pausing or unpausing a device in NETGEAR Smart Parental Controls (SPC) blocks or allows Internet access on that device.
To pause or unpause a device in NETGEAR Smart Parental Controls:
1. Launch the Orbi app or Nighthawk app.
2. Tap the Device Manager tile.
A list of your SPC profiles and their associated devices displays.
3. Swipe right on a device.
4. Tap the pause or play icon to allow or block Internet access on that device.
To pause or unpause all of the devices in your network:
1. Launch the Orbi app or Nighthawk app.
2. Tap the Parental Controls tile.
The Parental Controls dashboard displays.
3. Select the Home profile.
4. Tap the pause or play icon on the top right of your screen to allow or block Internet access on all of your connected devices.
Note: The Home profile is a default profile that is associated with all of the devices that are connected to your router. Pausing or unpausing in the Home profile affects every device in your network.
