Setting up a Smart Parental Controls (SPC) profile for your child allows you to monitor that child's Internet activity. With a basic (non-premium) SPC profile, you can control when they access the Internet and the devices they can use to access the Internet.
With SPC Premium, you can give screen time rewards for good behavior, view Internet history, and set automatic Internet access schedules.

To create a profile in NETGEAR Smart Parental Controls:
1. Launch the Orbi or Nighthawk app.
2. Tap the Parental Controls tile.
3. Tap Add New Profile > Set Up.
We recommend setting up a profile for each child whose Internet activity you are monitoring.
4. Enter a name for the profile you are setting up.
5. Tap Continue.
A list of devices that are connected to your Orbi or Nighthawk router displays. This list displays both online and offline devices.
6. Select the devices that your child can use to access the Internet.
For example, if you want your child to only be able to access the Internet on your iPad, select your iPad from the list.
7. Tap Save.
8. Select an appropriate content filter for your child.
9. Tap Continue > Continue.
Your new profile and 30-day free trial are active.
