In order to access Milestone Arcus on ReadyNAS from your mobile device, you require the Milestone Mobile software. For Android, you can download Milestone Mobile from the Google Play Store. For iOS, you can download Milestone Mobile from the App Store. For Windows Mobile, you can download Milestone Mobile from the Windows Phone Store.
Milestone Mobile can be used locally or remotely. Making Milestone Mobile work outside of your local area network may require additional configuration of your router if UPnP is not enabled.

Configuring Milestone Mobile to connect to Milestone Arcus on ReadyNAS
- Once Milestone Mobile is installed on your mobile device, open the app. Milestone Mobile will ask if you want to add a server with ID, or a server manually. Select Add server manually.
The Server Details window appears. - Choose an identifying name for the server in the Name field.
- The Address field will be your WAN IP or DNS address for your home network. From the example in How do I setup Port Forwarding with Milestone Arcus on ReadyNAS?, use the IP address portion before :8081 (67.161.6.120) as the Address in Milestone Mobile.
- The Port will be the port number identified after the colon in the External address field. From the example in How do I setup Port Forwarding with Milestone Arcus on ReadyNAS?, use the port number portion after the colon (8081) as the Port in Milestone Mobile.
Note: Milestone Arcus for ReadyNAS does not support Secure Port or Secure Connection. - If you have security enabled on your Milestone Arcus on ReadyNAS, you will need to enter your username and password in their applicable fields on the User Details section of the New Server screen.
- When all applicable fields are entered, click Done, then Done.
- Click on the name of your server and you should now be connected to Milestone Arcus on ReadyNAS from Milestone Mobile on your mobile device.
