You can connect your NETGEAR WiFi USB adapter to a WiFi network using the NETGEAR genie adapter software on Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.

To connect to a WiFi network using your NETGEAR WiFi USB adapter and NETGEAR genie:
Microsoft Windows
- In your PC’s system tray, click the
icon.
NETGEAR genie opens. - Click Join a Network.
- Select a WiFi network.
- Click Connect.
- If the WiFi network is secure, enter its password or network key.
The adapter joins the WiFi network. Your settings are saved in a profile.
Apple macOS
- In your Mac’s menu bar, click the icon.
A list of networks displays. - Select a WiFi network.
- If the WiFi network is secure, enter its password or network key and click Join.
The adapter joins the WiFi network. Your settings are saved in a profile.
