NETGEAR is only allowing customers to register and activate Email or Web Subscription licenses with terms expiring on or before December 31, 2016. This article explains ProSECURE UTM license part numbers.
There are seven UTM (Unified Threat Management) devices in the NETGEAR ProSECURE line: UTM5, UTM10, UTM25, UTM50, UTM150, UTM9S, and UTM25S.
A licence is equivalent to a support contract. Licensure allows the NETGEAR servers to update the UTM with counter measures against the latest Malware, Phishing, Spam, Trojans that are on the internet.
Each UTM has options of individual or bundled licenses for durations of 1 or 3 years. These can be are purchased online through NETGEARs partner resellers. The 30 digit Registration key is sent out via email to the purchaser.
Note: As of Firmware Version 3.0.1-124, a new license was introduced called Application Control & IPS. It must be activated in order to take advantage of Application Control & IPS functions. After activation Maintenance license, click Retrieve Info and doublecheck the license section to activate Application Control & IPS.
To use the table below, replace "xx" in with the SKU digit ie, 5, 10, 25, 50,150, 9S and 25S.
