Known Issues
- When managing the unit remotely the management interface takes too long to show up (about forty seconds).
- A supported 3 terabyte USB hard drive may take up to a minute to attach.
- In some cases the Traffic Meter cannot limit exactly, for example if the limit is set to 3MB the actual limit may occur at 3.01MB.
- There is an issue with Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) with the WN111v2 wireless client.
To Upgrade
Note: To avoid wireless disconnect issue during the firmware download process, NETGEAR recommends that firmware upgrade be performed on a computer with wired connection.
- Download the firmware using the button below and save it to a convenient place such as your desktop. Unzip if needed.
For users in Germany only

- Under Maintenanceclick Router Upgrade.
- Click Browse and locate the upgrade (.img) firmware image file you just downloaded
- Click Upload. Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.
