The Auto-Video feature supports video surveillance cameras and other applications that run multicast traffic.The default IGMP snooping VLAN is Auto-VideoVLAN 3. This VLAN ID is fixed. All video surveillance equipment must operate on Auto-Video VLAN 3. By default, the Auto-Video feature is disabled. When you enable the Auto-Video feature, IGMP snooping and the IGMP snooping querier operate in the snooping VLAN.
The smart switch automatically adds the port on which an IGMP join message arrives to the snooping VLAN.The IGMP join message must be within the valid multicast range, that is, from 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255. The Auto-Video feature operates in auto detection mode and you do not need to configure the settings manually.If you require any snooping VLANs in addition to default Auto-Video VLAN 3, you must configure the snooping VLANs manually.
