Configure Switch GSM7328S_1

  1. Enable IP routing on the switch.
    1. Select Routing > IP > Basic > IP Configuration.

      A screen similar to the following displays.

    2. For Routing Mode, select the Enable radio button.
    3. Click Apply.
       
  2. Enable IPv6 forwarding and unicast routing on the switch.
    1. Select Routing > IPv6 > Basic> Global Configuration.

    2. For IPv6 Unicast Routing, select the Enable radio button.
    3. For IPv6 Forwarding, select the Enable radio button.
    4. Click Apply.
       
  3. Create a routing interface and assign an IP address to it.
    1. Select Routing > IP > Advanced > IP Interface Configuration.

    2. Under IP Interface Configuration, scroll down and select the Port 1/0/1 check box.

      Now 1/0/1 appears in the Interface field at the top.
      • In the IP Address field, enter 192.168.1.1.
      • In the Subnet Mask field, enter 255.255.255.0.
      • In the Routing Mode field, select Enable.
    3. Click Apply.
       
  4. Create a 6-in-4 tunnel interface.
    1. Select Routing > IPv6 > Advanced > Tunnel Configuration.

    2. In the Tunnel Id list, select 0.
    3. In the Mode field, select 6-in-4-configured.
    4. In the Source Address field, enter 192.168.1.1.
    5. In the Destination Address field, enter 192.168.1.2.
    6. Click Apply.
       
  5. Assign an IPv6 address to the tunnel.
    1. Select Routing > IPv6 > Advanced > Prefix Configuration.

    2. In the Interface list, select 0/7/1.
    3. In the IPv6 Prefix field, enter 2000::1.
    4. In the Length field, enter 64.
    5. In the EUI64 field, select Disable.
    6. Click Add.

Configure Switch GSM7328S_2

  1. Enable IP routing on the switch.
    1. Select Routing > IP > Basic > IP Configuration.

    2. For Routing Mode, select the Enable radio button.
    3. Click Apply.
       
  2. Enable IPv6 forwarding and unicast routing on the switch.
    1. Select Routing > IPv6 > Basic > Global Configuration.

    2. For IPv6 Unicast Routing, select the Enable radio button.
    3. For IPv6 Forwarding, select the Enable radio button.
    4. Click Apply.
       
  3. Create a routing interface and assign an IP address to it.
    1. Select Routing > IP > Advanced > IP Interface Configuration.

    2. Under IP Interface Configuration, scroll down and select the Port 1/0/13 check box.

      Now 1/0/1 appears in the Port field at the top.
      • In the IP Address field, enter 192.168.1.2.
      • In the Subnet Mask field, enter 255.255.255.0.
      • In the Routing Mode field, select Enable.
    3. Click Apply.
       
  4. Create a 6-in-4 tunnel interface.
    1. Select Routing > IPv6 > Advanced > Tunnel Configuration.

    2. In the Tunnel Id list, select 0.
    3. In the Mode list, select 6-in-4-configured.
    4. In the Source Address field, enter 192.168.1.2.
    5. In the Destination Address field, enter 192.168.1.1.
    6. Click Apply.
       
  5. Assign an IPv6 address to the tunnel.
    1. Select Routing > IPv6 > Advanced > Prefix Configuration.

    2. In the Interface list, select 0/7/1.
    3. In the IPv6 Prefix field, enter 2000::2.
    4. In the Length field, enter 64.
    5. In the EUI64 field, select Disable.
    6. Click Add.
