- Create MVLAN 999, VLAN1 1001, VLAN2 1002 and VLAN3 1003.
- Select Switching > VLAN > Basic > VLAN Configuration.
A screen similar to the following displays:

- In the VLAN ID field, enter 999, and in the VLAN Name field, enter mVlan.
- Click Add.
- Repeat step b and c to create VLAN1 1001, VLAN2 1002, and VLAN3 1003.
- Select Switching > VLAN > Basic > VLAN Configuration.
- Add port 9 into MVLAN 999 with tagged mode.
- Select Switching > VLAN > Advanced > VLAN Membership.
A screen similar to the following displays:

- In the VLAN ID list, select 999.
- Click Unit 1. The ports display.
- Click the gray box under port 9 until T displays.
The T specifies that the egress packet is tagged for the ports.
- Click Apply to save the settings.
- Repeat steps from b to e, add port 0/1 to VLAN1 1001, add port 0/5 to VLAN2 1002, and add port 0/7 to VLAN3 1003.
- Select Switching > VLAN > Advanced > VLAN Membership.
- Enable MVR and multicast VLAN
- Select Switching > MVR > Basic > MVR Configuration.
A screen similar to the following displays:

- For MVR Running, select Enable.
- In the MVR Multicast VLAN field, enter 999.
- Click Apply.
- Select Switching > MVR > Basic > MVR Configuration.
- Add multicast group 224.1.2.3 to MVR.
- Select Switching > MVR > Basic > MVR Group Configuration.
A screen similar to the following displays:

- In the the MVR Group IP field, enter 224.1.2.3.
- Click Add.
- Select Switching > MVR > Basic > MVR Group Configuration.
- Configure a receiver on interface 0/1, 0/5, and 0/7.
- Select Switching > MVR > Basic > MVR Interface Configuration.
A screen similar to the following displays:

- Under MVR Interface Configuration, scroll down and select the Interface 0/1, 0/5 and 0/7 check boxes.
- Enter the following information:
- In the Admin Mode list, select Enable.
- In the Type list, select Receiver.
- Click Apply to save the settings.
- Select Switching > MVR > Basic > MVR Interface Configuration.
- Configure source interface.
- Select Switching > MVR > Basic > MVR Interface Configuration.
A screen similar to the following displays:

- Under MVR Interface Configuration, scroll down and select the Interface 0/9 check box.
- Enter the following information:
- In the Admin Mode list, select Enable.
- In the Type list, select source.
- Click Apply to save the settings.
- Select Switching > MVR > Basic > MVR Interface Configuration.
- Configure MVR Group Membership.
- Select Switching > VLAN > Advanced > VLAN Membership.
A screen similar to the following displays:

- In the Group IP list, select 224.1.2.3.
- Click Unit 1. The ports display.
- Click the gray boxes under ports 1, 5, and 7.
(Port 9 is already in MVR group 224.1.2.3 because it is configured as the source port.)
- Click Apply to save the settings.
- Select Switching > VLAN > Advanced > VLAN Membership.
