  1.  Set queue 5 on all interfaces to use strict mode.
    1. Select QoS > CoS > Advanced > CoS Interface Configuration.

    2. Under Interface Queue Configuration, select all the interfaces.
    3. In the Queue ID list, select 5.
    4. In the Scheduler Type list, select Strict.
    5. Click Apply to save the settings.
       
  2. Enable DiffServ.
    1. Select QoS > DiffServ > Basic > DiffServ Configuration.

    2. For Diffserv Admin Mode, select the Enable radio button.
    3. Click Apply to save the settings.
       
  3. Create a class class_voip.
    1. Select QoS > DiffServ > Advanced > DiffServ Configuration.

    2. In the Class Name field, enter class_voip.
    3. In the Class Type list, select All.
    4. Click Add to create a new class.
    5. Click class_voip.

    6. In the Protocol Type list, select UDP.
    7. Click Apply to create a new class.
       
  4. Create a class class_ef:
    1. Select QoS > DiffServ > Advanced > DiffServ Configuration.

    2. In the Class Name field, enter class_ef.
    3. In the Class Type list, select All.
    4. Click Add to create a new class.
    5. Click class_ef.

    6. In the IP DSCP list, select ef.
    7. Click Apply to create a new class.
       
  5. Create a policy pol_voip. and add class_voip to this policy.
    1. Select QoS > DiffServ > Advanced > Policy Configuration.

    2. In the Policy Selector field, enter pol_voip.
    3. In the Member Class list, select class_voip.
    4. Click Add to create a new policy.
    5. Click the pol_voip whose class member is class_voip.

    6. In the Assign Queue list, select 5.
    7. For Policy Attribute, select the Mark IP DSCP radio button, and select ef.
    8. Click Apply to create a new policy.
       
  6. Add class_ef to the policy pol_voip.
    1. Select QoS > DiffServ > Advanced > Policy Configuration.

    2. Under Policy Configuration, scroll down and select the pol_voip check box.

      Pol_voip now appears in the Policy Selector field at the top.
       
    3. In the Member Class list, select class_ef in.
    4. Click Apply to add the class class_ef to the policy pol_voip.
    5. Click the pol_voip whose class member is class_ef, and a screen similar to the following displays.

    6. In the Assign Queue list, select 5.
    7. Click Apply to create a new policy.
       
  7. Attach the defined policy to interface 1/0/2 in the inbound direction.
    1. Select QoS > DiffServ > Advanced > Service Configuration.

    2. Scroll down and select the Interface 1/0/2 check box.

      Now 1/0/2 appears in the Interface field at the top.
       
    3. In the Policy In list, select pol_voip.
    4. Click Apply to create a new policy.
