Existing 802.11ac Wave 1 wireless access points cannot be converted to Wave 2.
However, NETGEAR offers a range of ProSAFE wireless controllers (WC7500, WC7600, and WC9500) that can centrally manage a mix of Wave 1 and Wave 2 802.11ac access points.
