Effective September 1, 2016, NETGEAR will be terminating the ReadyNAS ReadyDROP service.
The current ReadyCLOUD service will be replacing the ReadyDROP service. ReadyCLOUD allows you to access your ReadyNAS from a PC, Mac, or smartphone from anywhere, local or remote. Sync and backup functions are integrated into the ReadyCLOUD app that runs on the PC and the Mac. In addition, a ReadyCLOUD app running on a smartphone or tablet can upload content automatically.
Things you did with ReadyDROP can be done with ReadyCLOUD, only with more ease, reliability, and bonus features. ReadyCLOUD is only available on ReadyNAS devices running ReadyNAS OS 6.
