You can find the firmware version on your Smart Switch or Easy Smart Managed Switch in two ways. If you know your switch's IP address, access the switch's device user interface (UI), also called the admin page. If you do not know the switch's IP address, use the NETGEAR Discovery Tool (NDT).
To find your switch's firmware version using the device UI:
- Enter your switch's IP address in your web browser's address bar.
- Enter the admin password and click Login.
The default admin password is password.
Depending on your switch model, the Switch Information page, Dashboard, or HOME page displays. - Find the firmware version in the Firmware Version field.
To find your switch's firmware version using the NDT:
- Discover your switch using the NDT.
