Some customers have reported problems installing and updating apps on their ReadyNAS systems following the update to ReadyNAS OS 6.5.0.
Update: This issue is resolved as of 21st May 2016. It is no longer necessary to manually apply the fix below.
Note: This problems only affects the following systems:
- RN102
- RN104
- RN202
- RN204
- RN212
- RN214
- RN2120
- RN2120v2
To correct the problem:
- Download the zip file: http://www.readynas.com/contributed/mdgm/files/arm/6.5/sources.zip (do not unzip the file).
- Go to the ReadyNAS admin page.
- Go to System - Settings - Configuration Backup - Restore.
- In the Select the backup archive field, click Browse.
- Locate and double click on the zip file that you downloaded in step 1.
- Click Restore.
- In the Perform Restore Backup prompt, click OK.
- Click OK on the confirmation windows that appears.
- Restart your ReadyNAS system.
- When the ReadyNAS system reboots, wait approximately 5 minutes before attempting the installation or update of apps.
