The ReadyNAS Admin Page provides system and disk health information about your fans. To change the fan speed, follow these steps:
- Login to your ReadyNAS Admin Page.
- Click Settings > Performance.
- Click the drop down menu under the fan statistics.
- Click the fan setting that you want to optimize.

- Quiet - Optimizes for quiet. Results in a lower, quieter fan speed with less cooling.
- Balanced - Optimizes for balance between fan speed, noise, and cooling levels.
- Cool - Optimizes for cooler temperatures. Results in a higher, louder fan speed.
Note: Fans may not respond immediately to changes you make to the fan settings. The smart design of ReadyNAS system implements your setting changes when it is ideal for the system.
