The Netgear ProSafe access point models WAC720, WAC730, WAC740 and WAC510 do not include a power adapter in the pacakge contents at time of purchase.
These access points have support for integrated Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af PoE) and can be powered by a IEEE 802.3af PoE capable switch.
The WAC720 requires PoE power consumption of 11.0 Watts and the WAC730 requires 12.9 Watts.
The WAC510 requires PoE power consumption of 9.3 Watts
If you do not have a switch capable of providing IEEE 802.3af PoE to power your access point then an external power supply is available to purchase as an accessory.
