With the release of ReadyNAS firmware version 6.5.0, ReadyCLOUD accounts must migrate to a MyNETGEAR.com single sign-on account. This transition took place on May 17, 2016. If you have a ReadyCLOUD account but do not have a MyNETGEAR.com account, follow these steps after the transition.

To migrate your ReadyCLOUD account to a MyNETGEAR.com account:

  1. Navigate to readycloud.netgear.com.

  2. Click the Sign In link in the upper-right corner.
Important: Do not sign in now. You must first complete the upgrade.

  3. Click the Upgrade to a MyNETGEAR Account link, then click the Upgrade Your Existing ReadyCLOUD Account link.

  4. Enter your ReadyCLOUD user name and password and click the Start the Upgrade Process button.
ReadyCLOUD looks for an existing MyNETGEAR account matching your ReadyCLOUD email address. Because you do not have a MyNETGEAR.com account, ReadyCLOUD guides you through creating one.

  5. Click the Yes - Migrate to MyNETGEAR button.
You are prompted to review the first name and last name to be associated with the MyNETGEAR.com account that you are creating.

  6. Review the information, correct it if needed, and click the Continue button.

  7. Create a password for your MyNETGEAR.com account by typing the password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.
You are prompted to check your email account for a verification message.

  8. Click the Confirm link in the email message to verify your new MyNETGEAR.com account.
After you confirm your account, your ReadyCLOUD account is migrated to a MyNETGEAR.com account.

  9. Navigate to readycloud.netgear.com and log in using your MyNETGEAR.com account credentials.
