How to remove the M6100 I/O Controller Module

Remove Line Card(s) and PSU(s) from front of chassis (blanking plates can remain in place).
Remove Fan Tray from rear of chassis.
Remove (7) Philips-head screws from top cover: (2) screws are located on the sides, (2) screws are located on the rear, and (3) screws are located on the top (as shown below). Slide cover backwards by pressing firmly on front edge of top cover, and then lifting top cover up to remove.
Remove (2) Philips-head screws from each side of chassis. Each screw is accessible via recessed openings and are not easily visible (use a magnetic screwdriver to prevent the screws from falling into the chassis when removed). Lift backplane vertically out of the chassis.
Remove (4) Philips-head screws from rear of chassis which retain the I/O Controller Module. Slide out the I/O Controller Module by pushing it from the inside of the chassis cutouts. To install the I/O Controller Module, perform the above steps in reverse.
