What is VDSL Bonding?
VDSL bonding is a technology that combines 2 standard VDSL2 lines into a single virtual connection that allows ISPs to double the bitrate/speed of their existing customers' connection. Alternatively, it allows the xDSL ISPs to deliver the same speed/bitrate over longer distances covering customers that were previously out of reach.

Do NETGEAR's retail VDSL modems and gateways support bonded VDSL?
No. The DM200 modem and D6220, D6400, D7000, and D7800 VDSL gateways do not support bonded VDSL. If there are installation issues for CenturyLink or other bonded VDSL service providers, support experts need to ask the customer if they are using bonded VDSL line. If customer is unsure please ask them to contact their ISP and confirm if they are using Bonded VDSL line. Confirming with ISP is the only way to be certain if bonded VDSL is used. There is no physical way to distinguish wether bonded VDSL is used or not.
