ReadyNAS: RAIDar 6.1

RAIDar is used to discover NETGEAR Storage devices on your local network.

RAIDar has been updated with a new interface and some additional functionality.

It is currently available for download from the ReadyNAS Downloads. RAIDar 6.1 is independent from RAIDar 4.3.8, so users will not receive a request to update.

Note: RAIDar will not present itself on ReadyCLOUD unless you cannot discover a device or if you search for a device and it does not turn up any results. The preferred way to find ReadyNAS OS 6 devices is through ReadyCLOUD.

What's new in RAIDar 6.1?

  • Added function to check for newer versions of RAIDar when starting up and in the about dialog.
  • Added support for device locate function.
  • Improved localization.
  • Minor UI enhancements and bug fixes

Note: When prompted, you may use your ReadyNAS admin username and password, or your ReadyCLOUD owner username and password (if configured)
