You can protect yourself from accidentally deleting your data by setting up an automatic snapshot schedule
In this example, a reference manual was deleted from a folder named Manuals, located inside the Documents share of a ReadyNAS OS 6 machine. There's only one snapshot taken since the file has been deleted. The file we are trying to restore is WMS5316_RM_17MAR10.pdf
Recover Folder using ReadyCLOUD
- Log into ReadyCLOUD account
- Select the Documents share, and click Recover Files button to the upper right hand side of the page.
- A list of manual and automatic snapshots appear. Select the snapshot time that you want to recover to and click Next.
- Clicking Recover will recover the data that was in the "Manuals" directory from the time shown.
Note:In this example, an entire folder was restored. Every file from that snapshot's time and date will overwrite any existing files with matching names. Any files that were created since the snapshot remain unaffected.
