There is a configuration Plus Utility in the resource CD that comes with the device. You must install it on a window-based PC. Also, once you know the IP address through the Plus Utility, you can configure it via Web browser.

GSS108E and GS116E support loop detection. When a loop is detected, both left and right LED on the affected port will blink at a constant speed with roughly 1 every second.
What is Auto DoS (Denial-of-Service) prevention?
DoS is a form of attack on computer network resources. The Auto DoS prevention feature would automatically block malicious packets such as source IP equals destination IP. GSS116E supports the Auto DoS but GSS108E doesn’t.

The password can be restored with the Factory defaults button. However, it would reset all configurations as well.
