Firmware Update Procedure
To load this firmware, click Router Upgrade from the Maintenance section. Then:
- Using the Download Link below, download and extract the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop.
Download Link: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/JR6150/JR6150_R6050_V1.0.0.32_1.0.1.zip
- The filename after unzipping is JR6150_V1.0.0.32_1.0.1.img
- Using a web browser, login to the router as admin.
- Under Maintenance click Router Upgrade.
- Click Browse and locate the upgrade file JR6150_V1.0.0.32_1.0.1.img.
- Click Upload.
- Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.
If problems occur after upgrading, try clearing the configuration by pressing the Factory Defaults pushbutton on the rear panel until the Test LED blinks (about 10 seconds). Then reenter your configuration information manually.
