New features and enhancements:
- ReadyDATA OS 1.4.1 supports a user entering a prefix for a manually configured ipv6 address by including it with a / at the end of the IP. For example: fd00:c0fe:deca:1:f54a:daf6:89f6:e444/64
- The default prefix for DHCPv6 is now /64 to accommodate some DHCP servers that do not respond to the DHCP request with the prefix defined in the address scope.
- Entering a subnet using CIDR notation is supported. ReadyDATA supports entries such as 192.168.8.0/24 to include access for every host from the 192.168.8.0 Class C (255.255.255.0) network.
- Plus and minus buttons on the snapshot timeline now function as a “zoom” option, where the plus button zooms in on the timeline to hourly and minus zooms out to display a broader period of time.
Major bug fixes:
- A security issue that allows remote Active Directory controllers to execute arbitrary code in specific situations has been patched in the version of Samba included with ReadyDATA. - An issue that can cause large file transfers over AFP to stop with an “Error code -50” message on the client has been resolved.
- A bug that prevented the creation of locally-managed replication jobs to fail when network connectivity between a replication is constrained has been fixed.
Deployment Notes / Limitations:
- For all ReadyDATA models.

- It is necessary to disable VAAI when using vSphere4 or vSphere5 with iSCSI.
- All system settings are volatile until the first volume is created.
- Deduplication for thick LUNs has been removed as capacity savings are not realized on the ReadyDATA device or by the host.
- For ReadyDATA 516.

- eSATA ports are disabled and capacity expansion beyond six bays is not supported.
- The unit's IP Address will not be displayed on the LCD when in Technical Support mode.
- A USB flash recovery tool is not currently available
