Yes, you can use a NETGEAR router or mesh system with Verizon Fios by connecting it to your Fios modem router (gateway) device.
If possible, we recommend putting your Fios gateway into bridge mode so that you can use all the features of your NETGEAR router or mesh system. Otherwise, you can turn off the WiFi on your Fios gateway and set up your NETGEAR router or mesh system in AP mode, but you won’t be able to access all the features of your NETGEAR device.
Verizon offers several types of gateway devices and the configuration for each differs. We recommend that you check the user guide for your specific device on the Verizon Routers page to see if it is possible to put your gateway into bridge mode.
