FVS318N Firmware Version 4.3.0-19

New features:

Issue(s) are resolved since last release V4.2.1-2:

MIB Browser walk "netgearVPN" notes timeout.
There are no SNMP trap log received when configure "VPN->Certificates".
The SNMP trap log error when establish IPv4 SSL VPN tunnel.
There are no SNMP trap received when establish/disactive IPv4 SSL VPN Port Forwarding tunnel.
IPSec VPN does not have uptime.
Nothing can be queried in "nnetRadvdConfig" even the RADVD of LAN/DMZ is all enabled.
"Block UDP Flood" option is in enabled state by default.
When VPN Pass through is disable,IPv6 IPsec VPN also can establish.

Known Issues:

IGMP Proxy behind NAT is not supported.
Device is accepting max 15 bandwidth profiles, below the expected max of 32.
XAUTH (CHAP) VPN client tunnel with greenbow clients is not establishing.
Unable to ping through VPN tunnel in Diagnostics page with VLAN subnet as traffic selector.
IPV6 Traceroute displays a blank page when trying with domain name.
DHCP relay functionality is not working across Vlan's until unless once WAN got up.
SNMP TRAPS not coming when ssl port forwarding tunnel is established.
To be release noted on the nfs version support.(Only support NFS v4 mount command. not support NFS v2 and v3, not support "showmount" command).
System log contains some weird character.

To Upgrade

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOT POWER-CYCLE THE UNIT BEFORE THE UPGRADE COMPLETES! IF YOU DO INTERRUPT THE UPGRADE, THE ROUTER WILL BE RENDERED USELESS!

Using the Download Link below, download and extract the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop. The filename after extracting is FVS318N_v4.3.0-19.img

Using a browser, login to the router as admin.
Note: Reboot the firewall before beginning the update process.
Select Administration > Settings Backup and Firmware Upgrade from the main/submenu.
In the Router Upgrade section, click Browse.
Locate the downloaded file and click Upload.
This will start the software upgrade to your VPN firewall. During the upgrade process, the Settings Backup and Firmware Upgrade screen remains visible and a status bar shows the progress of the upgrade process. The upgrade process can take up to 10 minutes. When the status bar shows that the upgrade process is complete, it can take another 10 minutes before the wireless VPN firewall reboots.
When the reboot process is complete, log in to the wireless VPN firewall again. (If you can see the unit: The reboot process is complete when the Test LED on the front panel goes off.)
Select Monitoring. The Router Status screen displays, showing the new firmware version in the System Info section of the screen.
