GS752TP, GS728TP and GS728TPP are NETGEAR's new smart Gigabit PoE/PoE+ switch. This release notes contains known issues and limitations for GS752TP/GS728TP/GS728TPP firmware.
And note that boot code 2.0.0.6 is also released together with this firmware.
GS752TP, GS728TP and GS728TPP support the latest Smart Control Center, please use SCC version 1.1.3.1 for switch discovery, basic configuration and FW upgrades.
Known issues:
- LED mode and PoE Max LEDs in Device View are incorrectly lighted in PoE Mode
Workaround: Check the LEDs from the switch's front panel. - IOT issue: PoE does not work well after reboot when connecting with Cisco PoE switch SGE2000P.
Workaround: Disable the PoE connecting with Cisco switch; Or change the connection to another ports after the reboot.
Limitations
- Reboot is required when switching between 'Switch' mode and 'Router' mode.
- Dynamic Vlan assignment and DiffServ Simple policy (flow based policer) can only be supported in 'Switch' mode, but not supported in 'Router' mode.
