New Features/Enhancements/Bug Fixes:
- Cannot access JGSM7224 through SNMPv3 if user privilege is set to read-only.
- Unable to clear DHCP L2 Relay Statistic counters from Web GUI.
- Unable to set CoS and IP precedence value to 1 or 4 when configuring Differv policy action via Web GUI.
- DHCP snooping trust mode of Port-channel 8 gets enabled automatically after a static MAC address binding is added to port 1 on the "Static Binding Configuration" table under Security > Control > DHCP Snooping > Binding Configuration page.
- Refreshing or clearing DHCP Snooping Statistics counters will cause the Web GUI session to end automatically.
- Unable to clear DHCP L2 Relay Remote ID string through Web GUI.
Warning:
- You will need to reconfigure your JGSM7224 after upgrading the firmware from v1.8.10 to v9.2.0.7. Configuration settings will be lost and previous saved configuration files cannot be used.
- You will NOT need to reconfigure your JGSM7224 after upgrading the firmware from v9.2.0.5 to v9.2.0.7. Configuration settings will be remained.
Upgrade Procedure
- Download firmware V9.2.0.7 from NETGEAR product support page and store it in a PC. Please remember its location in PC's file system.
- Log in your JGSM7224.
- Change \Security\Access\ the timeout value of sessions to 60 minutes and save it.
- Download the new firmware to JGSM7224.
- JGSM7224 will reboot automatically after download is completed.
- Delete the cache memory or Internet Temporary files of your WEB browser.
- Upgrade is finished once the reboot is completed. You can re-log in your JGSM7224 with your previous username and password. Upgrading firmware will not change your username and password.
Notes:
- With V9.2.0.7, private MIBs are now under 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.20 (please refer to the latest NETGEAR product MIB).
- The default password of v9.2.0.7 is blank. So, if the switch is reset back to factory default settings, you will not need to enter the password to login..
