- Fix the issue that ports could lock up due to poor quality of cable.
Installation Procedure (also in your documentation)
- Download the new firmware and store in a convient location in your local computer (e.g., \download).
- Start Smart Wizard Discovery utility, which is included on the CD that came with your Smart Switch. If you have not installed, please install it.
- On Smart Wizard window, click Discover to locate your Smart Switch. The switch is listed in the device list table once it is found. Note: Smart Wizard uses broadcast packet to locate Smart Switches. This means that it can only locate Smart Switches located within the same routing domain.
- Highlight the Smart Switch to upgrade and click Firmware Upgrade.
- Follow the screen prompts to complete the upgrade. Smart Wizard reports a successful completion at the end of update.
