New features and enhancements:
- Removed deduplication option for thick provisioned LUNs. NETGEAR strongly recommends that users disable deduplication on thick LUNs.
Major bug fixes:
- VNICS are brought down/up when the parent NIC is down/up and routes are updated accordingly.
- Modified netmask on VNICs persists after reboot.
- In ADS mode, a new share group owner is Domain Administrator.
- RPM check on disk validation when adding similar disks has been relaxed to allow for volume creation with drives from more than one vendor.
- Issue that caused the password recovery screen not to display in specific scenarios has been corrected.
- User Interface latency issue with Hitachi 3TB SATA drives has been resolved.
- Access issue to shares where groups are used to determine access rights in local security mode has been corrected.
- Replicate destination LUN is prevented from being imported into iSCSI target server on reboot so Replicate process can continue.
- Binding of a default gateway to a selected interface is now allowed.
