New features and enhancements:
- Improve the compatibility with the root AP that has Wi-Fi security set as mixed mode.
- Resolve the issue that WN3000RP cannot connect to root AP while root AP is set as "Short Preamble".
- Resolve the issue that LAN PC cannot get IP from root AP while root AP's ACL is enabled.
- GUI will now show both primary and secondary channel number while using 40MHz channel bandwidth.
To upgrade:
Note: Do not upgrade the firmware using a wireless connection. Please perform firmware upgrade with “wired” or Ethernet connection only.
- Write down all the settings which you changed from the default values, since you may need to re-enter them manually.
- Download the firmware and save it to a convenient place such as your desktop. Unzip if needed.
- Log in to the device using a Web browser. The URL is http://www.mywifiext.net.
- Click Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade.
- Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded.
- Click Upload. While the firmware is loading, do not interrupt the upgrade process.
Important Note: The upgrade process is completed when the on screen progress bar completes.
