The following example shows commands to add a static host name entry to the switch so that you can use this entry to resolve the IP address.
(Netgear Switch)#config
(Netgear Switch) (Config)#ip host www.netgear.com 206.82.202.46
(Netgear Switch) (Config)#ip domain-lookup
(Netgear Switch) (Config)#ping www.netgear.com
Send count=3, Receive count=3 from 206.82.202.46
