New Features:
- QOS: set the QOS rule port as UDP port, then in the edit page, the start and end port displayed as empty.
- QOS: set rule's category as application, in the edit page, only part of applications were displayed in applications box.
- USB: when set HTTPS via internet port as invalid values, the warning message said port should be 80 or 1024 to 65534, the port 80 should be 443 instead.
- USB: HTTPS via port can be set as 80, but user can't access USB folder through port 80.
- Traffic meter: when set monthly limit as control by time, in statistics, the "connection time" should be "connection time left".
- USB: DUT should not allow the share name to be set as the same.
- USB: DUT allow folder name to be set as the same, but when folder name were set as the same, only one folder can be seen in \readyshare.
- USB: when edit the folder name as space keys, there pop up a warning message said that share name can't be blank, the warning message is not right.
- IPV6: MTU: the MTU for IPV6 PPPOE is 1500.
- IPV6: when prefix length is less than 64, DUT should change the prefix length to 64.
To Install
Note: To avoid wireless disconnect issue during the firmware download process, NETGEAR recommends that firmware upgrade be performed on a computer with wired connection.
- Write down all the settings which you changed from the default values, since you may need to re-enter them manually.
- Using the Download Link below, download and extract the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop.

- Log in to the router using a Web browser. The URL is http://www.routerlogin.net.
- Click ADVANCED tab > Administration > Firmware Upgrade.
- Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded.
- Click Upload. Do not interrupt the upgrade while the router does this step.
Important Note:
- The upgrade process is completed when the on screen progress bar completes. If power LED light turns amber and blinking, power cycle the router to complete the upgrade.
- If the upgrade progress bar on web GUI doesn’t display correctly during firmware upgrade, you can still check the status using Power LED. The Power LED should be blinking (amber) during firmware upgrade. After firmware upgrade is done and boots up the system, it changes to steady amber color.
Please DO NOT power off or reboot the device during firmware upgrade, otherwise, it may result to a corrupt firmware and cause the device not to work.
