In some cases it may be helpful to clear your cache on your browser, particularly if you are seeing unexpected behavior on the ReadyNAS Admin Page.

On any internet browsers you can redownload quick cache by hiting CTRL+F5 on your keyboard to refresh the webpage completely. This can be very effective to resolve issues with ReadyNAS firmware 6.5.0

 

Please do the following to clear the cache on your browser

 

  • IE8+- Safety - Delete Browsing History... (Ctrl+Shift+Del) - make sure Temporary Internet Files is selected (and also Preserve Favorites website data if the product is in your favorites list), optionally uncheck Cookies, History or any others that are selected, then hit Delete.
  • Firefox 3.5+ - (Ctrl+Shift+Del) - from the Time range to clear: dropdown menu, select Everything - under Details deselect all but cache.
  • Google Chrome 40+ - (Ctrl+Shift+Del) - select "Cookies and other site and plugin data" and "Cached images and files" -- then click the Clear Browsing Data button.
  • Safari 3+ - (Ctrl+Alt+E on PC or Ctrl+Cmd+E on Mac) - Empty Clearing your cache, or deleting your history, could take a while if you have a lot of files and history.
