ReadyDATAOS v1.1.0 Release Notes:
New features and enhancements:
- ReadyDATA Replicate jobs can be created without the need to specify destination address.
- ReadyDATA Replicate jobs now include the transfer of snapshots (both manual and continuous protection) on the destination device. Any snapshots on the source device will be available in the destination and visible through the UI.
- ReadyDATA Replicate updates can now be applied independently of full firmware update for future feature enhancements.
- Added Integration with UPS over Ethernet
- Added option to specify NTP servers manually
- Added new alerting feature: System will alert low capacity when "Continuous Protection" snapshots have been pruned aggressively to make room for other data
Major bug fixes:
- Fixed: False alarms with temperatures sensors are now fixed
- Fixed: Lost permissions, quotas and reservation settings on reboot
- Fixed: MTU settings lost across reboots. Setting MTU on VNICs, physical NICs and bonds is kept when rebooting the system.
Deployment notes / limitations:
- It is recommend to disable VAAI when using vsphere4 or vsphere5 in conjunction with iSCSI.
- All system settings are volatile until the first volume is created.
