The ReadySHARE USB feature on your NETGEAR device is compatible with most plug-and-play USB-compliant external flash and hard drives. However, USB drives that require special software, are encrypted or password protected, or require more power than a standard USB drive, do not work with NETGEAR devices.

The USB ports on NETGEAR devices are for storage devices only. Some legacy NETGEAR devices support printers. Do not connect computers, modems, CD or DVD drives, or any other devices to your NETGEAR device's USB port.
