This describes advanced configuration for administrators. Configuration can be done either through the access point's GUI, or through command line FTP and modifying the configuration file shown below in a text editor.
Reasons to manipulate the configuration file include:
- You wish to keep previous versions of the configuration for backup and historical reasons.
- The network is very slow, causing the GUI to be difficult to use.
- You want identical changes to be made across more than one access point.
