NETGEAR Insight version 10.1 (July 2026) comes with several new features for users that have multiple mobile hotspots, including GPS/Geofencing and remote Ethernet control.

GPS/Geofencing
Insight tracks the locations of GPS-enabled mobile hotspots. Using an interactive map, you can define a boundary point (Geofence), and be notified when GPS-enabled hotspots enter and exit the location.

Remote Ethernet control
Insight allows you to remotely toggle on/off your mobile hotspot's Ethernet port. You can save the Ethernet port status to a profile and apply it to a group of devices, without having to configure each one individually.
