Bug Fixes:
- Fixes the issue where static MAC address entries set for port security disappear or display on the wrong port, allowing unauthorized devices to connect or blocking legitimate ones.
- Fixes the issue where port speed and duplex settings do not apply correctly when using the Japanese device UI. This causes the port to remain at “Auto duplex”, even after you save a specific setting.
- Fixes the issue where uploading an SSL certificate fails due to inconsistent behavior between the Maintenance > Update > HTTP Firmware/File Update page, and the System > Protocols > HTTPS page.

Warnings:
Read and follow these warnings before you update a firmware version that is earlier than version 7.0.8.4 to version 7.0.8.4 or a later version:
- After you update the firmware to version 7.0.8.4 or a later version, we recommend that you do not downgrade to version 7.0.7.X or an earlier version.
- Because HTTPS is disabled by default since version 7.0.6.2, the device UI login page does not display automatically after you use HTTPS to update to version 7.0.8.4 or a later version. Open a new web browser tab and enter the switch IP address to access the login page.
- After you manually enable HTTPS, if you access the device UI via HTTP, you are automatically redirected to HTTPS.
- The SNMPv1 and SNMPv2 default community strings Private and Public are not available in version 7.0.8.4 or a later version. We recommend that you set a different community string before updating the firmware.
- The authentication protocol for SNMPv3 automatically changes to MD5 if the current setting is None. After the firmware upgrade, reconfigure the authentication protocol for SNMPv3.
- The default setting for the Smart Control Center (SCC) management option changes from enabled to disabled.
Note: The SCC Utility can still discover the switch.
