You can manage web access on an Insight-managed NETGEAR Pro Router to create category‑based filtering rules. This allows you to control which types of websites users can access using the router, helping you enforce security policies and maintain safe browsing standards. When you configure web category filtering rules on the router, those rules override any workspace‑level category settings.
To create web category filtering rules:
- Log in to Insight at insight.netgear.com
- Select the Organizations tab, and click the name of the organization.
- Select the Security Center tab, and click the Security Configurations button. The Exium Security page displays.
- From the left menu, click Sites > Local Policies > Web Categories.
- From the dropdown menu, select the serial number of the PR60X/PR460X.
- Click the Create button. The default policies display.
- To update the policy settings, click Allow or Block.
- To save your settings, click the Update button.
