Restriction:
- Switches manufactured with this firmware or later versions do not support firmware downgrades.
Note: You can still perform firmware downgrades on switches that were manufactured with older firmware versions.
Bug Fixes:
This firmware addresses the following bugs:
- Fixes the issue where whole subnet DHCP exclusion rules affect other configured DHCP pools.
- Fixes the issue where MAC/IP ACL rules were incorrectly bound to a LAG interface even when no LAG was selected.
- Fixes the issue where configuring the AF22 DSCP-to-queue mapping unintentionally overwrote the AF42 mapping, and changing AF42 configuration has no effect.
- Fixes the issue where port speed/duplex settings fails when the device UI language is set to Japanese.
- Fixes the issue where the Voice VLAN settings on ports does not function when you add the switch to Insight, restart the switch, or re-enable Insight management.
- Fixes an issue where a port does not function when you edit the configuration on the Insight cloud while the switch was offline.
Known issues:
This firmware contains the following known issues:
- When you perform a cable test for all ports on the switch through Insight, results for some ports might not display.
- After you change the IP address of the switch, it might take 10 to 15 minutes to update an IP address in the Device list on Insight.
- After a port link fails and comes back up, the DHCP binding table empties.
Warnings:
Read and follow these warnings before updating your firmware:
- Do not use the NETGEAR Switch Discovery Tool (NSDT) to try to discover the switch because it is no longer supported as of firmware version 6.2.0.36. Use the NETGEAR Discovery Tool (NDT) or the latest NETGEAR Insight App to discover the switch.
