The quickest way to get online with your Nighthawk 5G M7 is to purchase an eSIM in NETGEAR app. You can purchase an eSIM for various countries and regions.
Your M7 mobile hotspot has an allotment of data per month to purchase and download eSIMs from the NETGEAR eSIM Marketplace. Because this is a limited allotment, we recommend only using this data when you do not have access to a WiFi network.

To purchase and install an eSIM in the NETGEAR app:
- Download and install the NETGEAR app for Android or iOS from ntgrapp.netgear.com.
- Launch the NETGEAR app and log into, or create, your NETGEAR account.
- From the NETGEAR app dashboard, tap Buy an eSIM.
The Welcome page displays. - Tap Continue.
The eSIM marketplace page displays. - Tap Region to shop for eSIMs based on a larger region, or Country to search for eSIMs by specific country.
All eSIM plans are regional, but searching by country can help you find a plan that works for your travel needs. - Scroll to find your desired country or region, then tap the country or region.
The data plan selection page displays. - Select the plan option that best meets your needs, then tap
The Checkout screen displays. - Select a payment method, review your purchase and check the box to indicate you agree with NETGEAR's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
If you have a discount code, you can enter it in the Add Discount Code field and apply it to your purchase. - Tap Pay Now to complete your eSIM purchase.
- Tap Got It.
- From the NETGEAR app dashboard, tap My SIMs.
- Select the eSIM you just purchased.
The Save your eSIM page displays. - Tap Continue.
Your eSIM is downloaded and saved to your M7. - Select when to activate your eSIM:
- Tap Use eSIM Now to activate your eSIM immediately.
- Tap Use eSIM Later to manually activate your eSIM later.
Your eSIM purchase and install is complete.
