- Support for new password rules throughout the Engage Controller and sites:
The password must be 8 to 64 characters in length and must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.

This supports multiple user accounts with site-specific user privileges.- Engage Administrators: In the Engage application, “admin” serves as the superuser. This allows administrators to create an additional administrator, with a maximum of two administrators allowed.
Engage administrators can perform the following actions:- Create and manage user accounts with site-specific privileges.
- Manage sites: Create or delete sites. Configure site administrator and guest passwords.
- Site Manager: This is the site administrator for assigned sites.
Site managers can perform the following actions:- Configure specific sites
- Monitor specific sites as a guest.
- Site Guest: This is the site guest for assigned sites.
Site guests can monitor specific sites as a guest.
- Engage Administrators: In the Engage application, “admin” serves as the superuser. This allows administrators to create an additional administrator, with a maximum of two administrators allowed.
- Support for additional user accounts for switches in a site: The Site Manager can create these accounts.
- Support for Guest SSID with wireless client isolation: This restricts client access to the gateway only.
- Support for access point (AP) LED control
- Support for Engage admin password recovery: After you enter an incorrect password, click the Forgot Password button on the Engage Controller login page to email the ProAV Design team for a one-time passcode.
- Support for Flood Multicast in Network Profiles to enable multicast packet flooding.
- Support for static IP address assignment on the PR460X for a VLAN without the need to enable DHCP server functionality.
- Support for sequential IP address assignment on the PR460X DHCP server by default.
- Enhancement of the Topology menu for better usability and clarity.
- Enhancement of the Fiber Modules page to prioritize critical columns (Network Monitoring > Fiber Modules).
- Enhancement of port assignment graphics to improve switchport visuals for clearer, more efficient information flow and user understanding.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixes the issue where time zones settings are inconsistent between APs and the Engage Controller.
- Fixes the issue where the Engage Controller search field did not work correctly due to case sensitivity. (CE-6445)
- Fixes the issue where switches could not power on due to an issue with firmware version 14.0.2.23 for M4350-24X8F8V (XSM4340V), M4350-36X4V (XSM4340CV) and M4350-32F8V (XSM4340FV) switches.
- Fixes the issue where the Engage Controller cannot discover the M4500 switch.
Known Issues:
- You cannot use the $ symbol as the first character in the name or password of a site.
- M4500 models do not support NTP/SNTP.
- M4500 MLAG peers created outside Engage do not appear in the Managed Devices list as MLAG devices.
- You cannot change the management VLAN on M4500 models using the Engage Controller.
Workaround: Use CLI commands to update PVID on M4500 models. - During the initial onboarding of an AP, the process may take up to 20 minutes. This duration includes the time required for the firmware upgrade and the configuration of region-specific settings. Additionally, the system may need to reboot to complete the setup.
- The auto-stacking function on the M4300 and M4350 switches does not support the M4300-96X model.
Workaround: Use CLI commands if an M4300-96X model must be a member of a stack. - You cannot display the EEPROM information for certain fiber modules.
Workaround: Use the switch CLI to display the EEPROM information. - Connection requests might be refused during the onboarding process of an M4500 switch.
Workaround: Try again until the connection request is successful. - Additional user accounts on switches may not be created successfully
- The management VLAN ID is inconsistent for onboarded devices if a pre-existing management VID does not match with the current site settings.
Workaround: Be sure that the management VLAN ID is the same across the entire site before you upgrade the firmware. - Assign IP addresses sequentially for PR460X DHCP server by default will be available in the next PR460X firmware release which is expected in mid-May.
Minimum Engage Agent Version Requirements:
- Upgrade the M4250, M4300, M4350, and M4500 switches to a firmware version with Engage agent 2.2.10.20 or later to ensure proper functionality of features in Engage version 2.1.1.6.
- Upgrade the Pro Router PR460X to firmware version 2.6.0.80 or later to ensure proper functionality of features in Engage version 2.1.1.6. The PR460X DHCP server assigns IP addresses sequentially by default in the next firmware release, expected in mid-May.
- Upgrade the WBE718 and WBE758 access points to firmware version 11.7.0.12 or later to ensure proper functionality of features in Engage version 2.1.1.6.
